The Iyerosun is a powder obtained from the tree Iyere Osun in Yoruba Land. This Iyerosun has the power to register the marks of the Odu Ifa and the prayers, verses of Ifa, recited on it. It is used for the divination with "Ikin Ifa" (sacred palm nuts of Ifa), the realisation of Ebo (prayers and offerings) and  the Akose (spiritual medicine) by the Babalawo.
